Year 1

Year 1 have been exploring and enjoying the story “Meerkat Mail”. The children then took Sunny on different adventures around the school and then helped him to write a postcard home.  

As part of Year 1’s Connected curriculum unit, the children have been finding out about Ole Kirk Christiansen who came up with the idea of LEGO bricks. In groups they took on a LEGO challenge activity and helped each other to come up with a variety of ideas to solve their particular LEGO problem.
