Busy, Busy, Year 1’s!

Children in Year 1 have been busy making their Robots out of junk material as we continue in English with our new text “The three little Aliens and the Big Bad Robot “ .

As Cogenhoe’s Roots of Empathy sessions finished, we had to say goodbye to Baby Elia and her Mum Kate. We are hoping we will be able to see how Elia continues to grow and develop next year too!

On Monday, Year 1 were Historians, and walked around the village of Great Billing looking at different houses and buildings. They had to decide which were new and which were old. They also learnt some interesting facts about the local History of the village too!
