How to Apply for a Primary School Place for 2021

You can make an application for primary school place if your child has their 4th birthday between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021

The closing date for applications was 5pm on 15 January 2021 however you can still make a late application.

Apply through your local library

You can apply online at any Northamptonshire County Council library. There will be no charge for using the computers.


Apply by post

Download the information booklet on the Northamptonshire County Council website and complete the application form at the back of the booklet.

Supplementary Information Forms are available from the School Office or can be printed using the link below - this must be returned.

Apply for 'in-year transfer'

Moving to a different school at any time other than the usual admission to Reception class, are known as an ‘in-year transfer’. Please see our Admissions Policy 2020 for criteria.  For further information and application form for 'in year' transfer to our school please refer to Northamptonshire County Council website - see link below

Children who have an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan should contact the EHC team for advice on the application process which applies to them.

16th April 2021 - Notification of school allocations for September 2021
21st May 2021 (4pm)  - Deadline for returning Notice of Appeal Forms to Peterborough Diocese.

The Appeal Clerk will send notification of the hearing (date & time) and the Statement of Case to Appellants week commencing 7th June 2021.

On-time appeals will be heard by 6th July 2021. All Spring/Summer 2021 appeals will take place on Zoom.

Proposed appeal hearing dates are between 1st-6th July 2021.

Decision letters will be sent within 5 working days of the appeal hearing, subject to any unforeseen circumstances.
