Family Support Worker
Do you have experience working with families and children? Are you passionate about improving the outcomes of young people?
We are looking for an enthusiastic Family Support Worker to join our friendly and hardworking team. This is a part-time and permanent position.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated, organised individual who enjoys working with families and children and is a competent user of ICT.
The role is to work with parents/ carers, children, school staff and other agencies to develop and maintain family support, providing an essential link between the home and school in order to raise attendance, attainment, well-being and to maximise children’s life chances.
As part of the safeguarding team, you will be required to adhere to our safeguarding policy and, led by the Designated Safeguarding Lead, facilitate links with outside agencies, prepare documents and reports and attend meetings regarding pupil and family well-being.

Salary: The post is paid at Grade G, spinal point 8 to 12, depending on experience. The full-time equivalent salary is £25,992, (£13.47 per hour) to £27,711 (£14.36 per hour) however the post is pro rata which means you will be paid for 40 weeks which is then averaged out over the 52 weeks. Actual salary is between £22,456 - £22,940 (pending annual increase)
Hours: 36.25 hours (8.30am- 4.30pm Monday to Friday)
