RAINFOREST AT SCHOOL!

This term we have been learning about the rainforest. On the 10th May, Dave from Raptorxotics came to St. Andrew’s with lots of animals from the rainforest. There was a green tree frog, a massive armoured stick insect, two giant snails, a white-faced owl, a small blood sucking leech, a long, smooth king snake, a small green tailless gecko, a female scorpion and two hissing cockroaches. Dave told us some good facts about the animals and we even got to hold some of them! My favourite animal was the scorpion because she has an odd lifestyle.
